Scrambling development

Ready to move on from grade 1 scrambles? Equip yourself with the skills required to safeguard more technical mountaineering ground (grade 2 and 3 scrambles) using a rope. We will spend two days developing your decision making and judgement skills to interpret the terrain ahead and select the most suitable technique to match the terrain from a range of safeguarding measures. We will look at managing safety and efficiency in this dynamic environment, prepping you up for future adventures in places such as Skye or the Alps. This 2-day workshop is run in Eryri (Snowdonia).

Who is this for?

Previous scrambling or basic rock climbing experience is required alongside a good foundation of hillwalking fitness to get the most out of the two days. If you are new to scrambling, why not take a look at our 2-day Discover Scrambling course.
