Seek experiences // Build confidence // Develop skills

We offer a range of bespoke activities and services under the following sub-genres. Alternatively, for details of our open courses available for public booking, please visit our Courses & events page.

It's simple: you have the objective and we'll help you achieve it! Whether it is a specific climbing route you've always wanted to do, a munro on your tick-list still to complete or bespoke journey in the mountains you have always wanted to experience, let us do the hard work for you. Guided days come in all shapes and sizes but are usually kept in small ratios e.g 1:1, 1:2 or 1:4.

More 'hands on' than a guiding day, this is where you come to learn specific skills and techniques and put them into practice in a structured and progressive manner.  As always, we look out for your personal safety at all times so you can just focus on mastering the techniques. Instructional days range from 1:1 to larger groups, tailored to the objective specified by the client.

Public engagement, media talent & writing

Alex has frequently been featured in both local and national media streams, digital and printed forms. From interviews with BBC Springwatch and Radio 4's 'Shared Planet' programme, articles published in national magazines and industry journals to factual research for natural history programming, our skillset is diverse and adaptable.

Examples of our work as a self-shooting producer include projects for Wildfowl & Wetland's Trust and HorseWorld Trust.
